WWE will celebrate a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, which this time will take place at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. It will be the first show of the red brand after Wrestlepalooza and will feature some of the PLE protagonists, including two top champions, Cody Rhodes and Stephanie Vaquer.
And it will be precisely "The American Nightmare" who will be in charge of opening tonight's show. This was confirmed by Adam Pearce, Raw's General Manager, in a recent post on the company's social media. On the other hand, this will be Stephanie Vaquer's first appearance as Women's World Champion. A title she won last weekend by defeating IYO SKY at Wrestlepalooza.
In addition, the General Manager has also announced two matches. On one hand, Bayley will face Roxanne Perez one-on-one. This will be "The Role Model's" first match since her return backstage with her new "bipolar" character. It remains to be seen which direction this story will take and what role Lyra Valkyria will play in it.
On the other hand, the rivalry between Penta and The New Day will reach a new level when the Mexican teams up once again with The War Raiders to face their enemies (once again accompanied by Grayson Waller) in a no-disqualification tag team match.
