In recent years, the world of sports has experienced a female revolution, with women gaining greater prominence in their respective fields. Professional wrestling has not been an exception, as evidenced by the rise of female superstars in WWE, who in the last decade have achieved great milestones, including the celebration of Evolution, an exclusive show for women.

This event, which has had two editions, has been very well received by both critics and fans, who would like to see a similar show in All Elite Wrestling. Tony Khan's company boasts one of the most talented and enviable rosters in the business, so it is assumed that the spectacle would enjoy a high level in the ring. An idea that Athena believes will come true at some point.

"Of course. I know TK has totally thought about that, it's just a matter of choosing the right moment when it comes to those things. We have the best roster in the world. I know everyone says it, but we really have the best roster in the world. I know he thinks about it. At least, it's been on his mind since I've been in AEW. It all depends on the timing," Athena said in an interview with WFAA.

Despite having a roster full of great stars, AEW failed to fully capitalize on its female talent, being one of the company's pending subjects in its early years. Tony Khan listened to the fans' complaints, which led him to dedicate greater effort to the division, which will soon debut the new World Tag Team Championships.

Additionally, in three weeks, the first-ever female Blood and Guts match will take place. At the moment, the company has not officially confirmed the match or the women who will be part of it, although it seems evident that the open war led by Jamie Hayter, Queen Aminata, Megan Bayne, and Triangle of Madness, among others, will be the perfect excuse for it.
