Mercedes Moné wins the APAC Wrestling Women’s Championship

Mercedes Moné continues to expand her already historic reign simultaneously with her most recent victory. Last night, she added her thirteenth title after conquering the APAC Wrestling Women's Championship at the SUPERCLASH event by House of Wrestling, which took place at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood, New York, a venue that was sold out. Moné shared the card with well-known names such as Shayna Baszler, Nic Nemeth, Maki Itoh, Shotzi Blackheart, and Karrion Kross, among others.

"The CEO" defeated Singaporean wrestler Nor "Phoenix" Diana, who was having her first professional match in North American territory. Mercedes applied the Mone Maker for the victory. In this way, Moné becomes the fourth champion of APAC Wrestling, ending "Phoenix's" reign of 763 days, the longest in the brief history of the title.

Moné will have a new date with history next week. On Wednesday, "The CEO" will face Red Velvet in a unification match for the ROH Women's World Television Championships. In this way, Mercedes will try to conquer the original title, leaving behind the interim one she took from Mina Shirakawa at AEW WrestleDream. A few days later, she will face Kris Statlander with the AEW Women's World Championship on the line. The match will take place at AEW Full Gear.

Moné is, without a doubt, one of the women of the moment in the professional wrestling business. With last night's win, "The CEO" now has a whopping thirteen championships across the world, surpassing the record of Último Dragon, who held ten belts simultaneously.

However, it must be clarified that not all titles are defended. The Queen of Southside Championship that Moné won from Mina Shirakawa was deactivated when it was unified with the RevPro Undisputed British Championship. Additionally, the Owen Hart Foundation Women's Championship is a trophy that does not count as an active title.
