MJF is one of the most well-known talents in today's professional wrestling scene. In addition to his undeniable in-ring quality, the former AEW World Champion has an innate talent for provocation, making him one of the best heels of his generation. So much so, that MJF usually doesn't hold back, no matter who it is.

His latest victim was Bret Hart, one of the biggest legends in the business, who stated a few weeks ago in an interview that he didn't know who MJF was. Something impossible considering they shared a segment at Double or Nothing 2019. Of course, MJF didn't hesitate to respond to these statements when asked about it in a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful.

Look, the guy had a seizure. He got kicked in the damn head. He's old as hell. Do I think it's Bill Goldberg's fault? Everything is Bill Goldberg's fault

MJF recalled his segment with Hart in 2019 after the legend unveiled the design of the AEW World Championship to the world. "The Devil" boasted about verbally destroying Hart, who also reportedly took a fall during his backstage return.

"Now, Bret, like me, is a troll. Do I really think he doesn't know who I am? Of course, he knows perfectly who I am. But one of my favorite things from that day is that, after completely humiliating him and verbally tearing him apart, he walks back up the ramp. He fell. Because of Bill Goldberg, not because of Bret, because of Bill," he said.

"So I try to find him to make sure he's okay. I find him. I say: 'Are you okay, sir?', and he looks at me and says: 'Your promo.' I say: 'Yes?' He says: 'You're really good.' I say: 'Yes,' and he replies: 'You remind me of a guy I used to hate a lot back in the day'. I think anyone watching this can put two and two together. I'll give you a hint: it's not Bill Goldberg."

Hart is known for criticizing various aspects of the business, including the work of some talents. He recently questioned the way Sheamus throws punches, pointing out that the Irishman opens his hand before hitting his opponent and then closes it again. A topic that MJF was also asked about.

"Look, anyone who knows me and follows my Twitter knows that Sheamus and I had a confrontation. Now, did I verbally murder him too? Yes, that's what I do. But I'm not going to sit here and pretend that Sheamus doesn't throw great punches. That's what he's known for," MJF said.

Finally, MJF was asked about Bret Hart's current recognition as the greatest wrestler of all time. Without abandoning his heel persona, the AEW talent wanted to give credit to the Canadian legend's legendary career, describing him as a tremendous wrestler.

Wrestling is like ice cream flavors. Is Bret Hart amazing? Yes. Is he, in my personal opinion, the greatest of all time? In my personal opinion, no. But that doesn't mean he's not damn good at wrestling
