Sting, retired from the ring since 2024 but still linked to AEW, assured that he is still available to help young wrestlers when he is backstage. In an interview for Hunter, Jessica & Cush, he explained that he does not usually attend many events, but when he is there, he does participate by giving opinions and advice.

The wrestling icon said that he usually provides feedback on matches, gimmicks, specific moves, and character psychology, as well as any details that a talent is trying to refine. He also pointed out that wrestlers often receive his comments with gratitude and that there is a very good disposition to listen to him.

Without a doubt, I am always there to offer some kind of advice. And everyone is very kind. You know, they are very happy to hear from me. So it's fine. But I'm not there, I don't go much, but when I go, I get involved.

Sting added that he stays in touch with some names from the roster by phone and speaks quite frequently with Darby Allin. Among the talents he highlighted as essential to follow today, he mentioned Kevin Knight, Will Ospreay, Kyle Fletcher, Tommaso Ciampa, Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, Orange Cassidy, Samoa Joe, and Jon Moxley.

The veteran also talked about his post-wrestling stage and mentioned that he is now focused on the real estate sector, one of his great passions for years. However, he made a recent appearance in AEW when Darby Allin defeated MJF to win the world title, confirming that he is still very attentive to the company.
