Arena México experienced another intense evening with the massive return of fans to witness a new Friday Spectacular from CMLL. In the main event, the técnico trio of Místico, Máscara Dorada, and Atlantis Jr. claimed a dominant victory over Ángel de Oro, Hechicero, and El Difunto in a match that fired up the crowd from start to finish.
The rudo team opened strong, taking the first fall, but the response from the técnico idols was unstoppable. Místico’s high-flying style earned huge ovations with a splash on Hechicero, followed by Máscara Dorada’s “shooting star press” on El Difunto, and Atlantis Jr.’s classic “Atlántida” submission to force Ángel de Oro to yield, sealing the win in the third fall.
In the semifinal bout, Último Guerrero retained the MLW National Openweight Championship for the fifth time by defeating Blue Panther. The “Maestro Lagunero” had the fans on their feet with his offense, but “the one from another level” reversed a splash to score the three-count and keep the gold.
Another heated moment came from Templario, who got his revenge from last week by defeating Barboza in a hard-fought singles match decided with a powerful backbreaker. Meanwhile, the rivalry between Esfinge and Felino escalated when the latter tore off his mask, causing a disqualification alongside El Valiente against the técnico duo completed by Rey Bucanero — a preview of what could happen at the 92nd Anniversary show.
The evening also featured key wins for La Fuerza Poblana (Arkalis, Stigma, and Xelhua) along with Rayo Metálico over Kráneo, Infarto, and the Calavera brothers, as well as for La Ola Negra (Raider, Espanto Jr., and Dark Magic), who defeated Fuego, Rey Cometa, and Espíritu Negro in the opening contest.
