During the most recent edition of CMLL Informa, it was announced that Persephone will be the company's representative in Forbidden Door 2025 for the TBS Championship match. As the current monarch of the Universal Amazon Championship, Persephone has earned the right to represent the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre and be one of the challengers for the title held by Mercedes Moné.
Persephone didn't hold back in her statements, expressing that the weight of so many championships could be affecting Mercedes Moné, so it's time for the Mexican wrestler to snatch one away. "I have always been international, it's time not to go as a foreigner, now we go proudly as Mexicans representing CMLL," she stated.
Furthermore, Persephone sent a clear and direct message to also CMLL World Champion, Mercedes Moné: "You have something that belongs to my company, but that doesn't matter now. What matters is that you have the TBS Championship that Perse wants, and what Perse wants, she always achieves, so I'll see you very soon."
With Persephone confirmed as CMLL's representative, the TBS Championship match at Forbidden Door already has three of its four participants confirmed. Champion Mercedes Moné will face the Mexican, Alex Windsor from AEW, and the representative from STARDOM, who has not yet been revealed.
