After his arrival at WWE last June, Blake Monroe has positioned himself as one of the great stars that the company has within the development territory. Despite his experience in the rival big company, AEW, Monroe finally landed in NXT to hone his character and be able to make the leap to the main roster with all the guarantees.
Despite her enormous talent, the wrestler is not exempt from criticism and toxic comments on social media, especially since her departure from Tony Khan's company and her arrival at WWE. In a video on her YouTube channel, the Londoner opened up about how she feels about it. She is aware that in this world there will always be people who will support her and, on the contrary, others who will dedicate themselves to attacking her tirelessly. "I can only give my best, and the people who will love me, will love me, and those who hate me, will hate me no matter what," declared Blake Monroe.
In the video, the former AEW World Champion also states that she has to be very careful with her words when speaking publicly or even keep some thoughts to herself. Blake attributes this to the fact that there are some people who are very attentive to her statements to misinterpret them or take them out of context.
Nevertheless, Monroe argues that these attitudes will not stop her, as her love for the business is much stronger. She added that she would not change her position and the experiences lived thanks to wrestling for anything in the world. "I've had an incredible wrestling journey. I've traveled the world, worked with the best, told amazing stories, collaborated with wonderful writers and people. I wouldn't change anything and I am very grateful," Blake concluded.
Many of the comments against the wrestler began to form following the controversial segment she had on an NXT program a couple of weeks ago. In it, Blake Monroe mocked on television the former physique of her rival in NXT Heatwave, Jordynne Grace. However, many of the criticisms were not against her, but against the producers and creatives of the show.
