Last Wednesday, after the last episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan's company held the tapings of a new edition of Collision at the Andrew J Brady Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The new episode served to further advance rivalries, both on television and some that will reach Forbidden Door, the joint show between AEW, NJPW, and CMLL. Some talents were also boosted within the programming with a victory on the show.

Below you can read the quick results of the show. Next Saturday, August 16, we will publish the usual report:

  • Toni Storm cut a promo but was attacked by Athena and Billie Starkz. Mina Shirakawa came to the rescue.
  • FTR attacked Bandido backstage. Brody King chased them to the ring, but Stokely threw powder at Brody, and FTR executed the Shatter Machine.
  • Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta defeated Speedball Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight.
  • Ricochet defeated Ace Austin. After the match, Tony Khan announced that Ace Austin is officially All Elite.
  • Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly defeated Blake Christian and Lee Johnson.
  • Kris Statlander defeated Julia Hart, Penelope Ford, and Anna Jay. After the match, Megan Bayne, Thekla, Skye Blue, Tay Melo, and Queen Aminata got into a fight. Harley Cameron helped Tay and Queen.
  • Juice Robinson defeated Bryan Keith.
  • Anthony Bowens yelled at Renee Paquette for asking about Max Caster.
  • Nigel McGuinness defeated Daniel Garcia, Hechicero, and Lee Moriarty. It was then announced that Nigel will face Zack Sabre Jr for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door.

With this new episode, we have seen one of the most anticipated dream matches confirmed by the fans. McGuiness and Sabre Jr will face off in a historic event like Forbidden Door in a technically demanding match.
