During the celebration of the PPV Emergence event, TNA Wrestling confirmed that Lei Ying Lee, known by many fans as former WWE superstar Xia Li, will continue to be part of the Knockouts division after signing a new contract with the company.
In a segment in the ring, Carlos Silva (TNA President), Tommy Dreamer, Jazz, Xia Brookside, Masha Slamovich, and Lee herself shared the stage. Dreamer dedicated emotional words to the wrestler, highlighting her effort and commitment, before offering her the new contract, which Lee visibly signed excitedly.
The moment came after The Elegance Brand (Heather and M By Elegance) defeated Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside, The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay), and Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx) by a count of three to retain the Knockouts Tag Team Championship.
Lee made history in WWE as the first Chinese woman to compete in the company, spending several years in NXT before being promoted to the main roster in 2021. Since her arrival at TNA in September 2024, she has faced some of the top figures in the division, including a title opportunity for the Knockouts Championship at Against All Odds 2025.
While she has not yet won a championship in TNA, Lee's continuity in the company reinforces expectations that she may soon be crowned as one of the main figures in the Knockouts division!
