Lucha Libre AAA celebrated last night Triplemanía XXXIII, one of its biggest events of the year, which this time featured numerous talents from WWE, some of them involved in title matches. This was the case for Natalya, who faced Lady Flammer and Faby Apache in a match for the Reina de Reinas Championship, which ultimately remained in the hands of its current holder, not without controversy.
The three women brought great speed to the match from the very beginning, exchanging attacks and nearfalls, with the referee, El Hijo del Tirantes, costing Faby Apache the victory, after a slow three count when Apache covered Flammer after knocking her out with a big boot.
The action transitioned to a more technical phase, with the three women exchanging submission holds. Natalya applied La Tapatía to Flammer, but Apache appeared to intervene. Natalya and Apache decided to join forces against Flammer, but the champion resisted the alliance of her opponents.
Natalya caught her two rivals in a double sharpshooter, but the Mexican wrestlers managed to escape from the Canadian, who ended up outside the ring. The action continued, with El Hijo del Tirantes once again earning the boos of the fans after an irregular count that could have given the victory to Natalya.
The match reached its final phase, with Faby Apache surprising Natalya with a Michinoku Driver. However, before covering her opponent, Apache was surprised by Flammer, who rolled her up. Apache managed to place a foot on the second rope, but the referee ignored it to continue the three count that gave the victory to the reigning champion.
Thus, Lady Flammer adds her sixth title defense in her first reign as Reina de Reinas Champion, which now totals 736 days. Flammer won the title at Triplemanía XXXI: Mexico City by defeating Taya Valkyrie, who currently holds the longest reign in the history of the title.
