Omos wins the Bardahl Cup at Triplemanía XXXIII

Lucha Libre AAA celebrated last night Triplemanía XXXIII, one of its biggest events of the year, which took place at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. The show featured a standout lineup that brought together some of the best talents from AAA and WWE, with several championship matches and the return of the traditional Triplemanía Cup, which this year ended up in the hands of Omos.

Rebranded as the Bardahl Cup since 2024 due to sponsorship issues, the trophy was contested by 14 talents, starting with La Parka and Laredo Kid, who were the first participants in the match. The fight was very dynamic, with good spots and fun moments involving Otis, Pimpinela Escarlata, and Microman, which delighted the fans in attendance at the venue.

However, everything changed with the arrival of Omos, who made his first televised appearance since January. The Nigerian giant became a true powerhouse, and not even the union of several talents proved to be effective against him. Omos made it to the end with two of the favorites, Octagón Jr. and La Parka, whom he ended up expelling from the ring over the top rope, thus securing his first Bardahl Cup.
