Last night, one of the biggest events of the year for Lucha Libre AAA took place: Triplemanía XXXIII. This edition featured several talents from WWE and a production very similar to what was seen in Worlds Collide, the first joint event between both companies, which will have a second edition next September.
This was announced by the company during the broadcast of Triplemanía XXXIII. WWE x AAA Worlds Collide will take place on September 12 at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The venue has an approximate capacity of 19,000 seats, depending on the event's purpose. Tickets for the show will go on sale next Friday.
The show will take place on the same day as a live SmackDown event at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia, so it is expected that Worlds Collide will air a few hours before the blue brand show. A similar situation occurred with the first edition of the event, held at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California, which took place shortly before WWE Money in the Bank 2025.
The first edition of Worlds Collide, whose goal was to introduce AAA to WWE fans, turned out to be a success both critically and in terms of views, becoming the most-watched video in WWE's YouTube channel history. Additionally, it was the show that made Mr. Iguana a phenomenon.
So far, the company has not announced any matches or the show's start time. It is expected that WWE will provide more details about the event throughout this week, which will likely feature talent from both companies. Likewise, it is expected that the show will be available for live streaming on WWE's YouTube channel.
