Lucha Libre AAA once again demonstrated why Triplemanía is one of the biggest events in Mexican wrestling. With 19,691 attendees at Arena CDMX and record-breaking numbers in streaming, the night combined Mexican tradition with international projection.

On this occasion, and for the first time, Triplemanía XXXIII was broadcasted on YouTube after AAA was acquired by WWE and Fillip. The show was specifically livestreamed on the Lucha Libre AAA channel on YouTube, as well as on WWE's YouTube channels (in English and Spanish). The numbers were remarkable:

  • Over 10,000 fans waiting for the broadcast half an hour before it started.
  • Over 200,000 viewers during the first match.
  • Simultaneous peaks of 230,000 on the WWE channel, 160,000 on WWE Spanish, and 100,000 on the Lucha Libre AAA channel.

Before the day ended in Mexico, Triplemanía XXXIII reached one million views on WWE's YouTube channels, both in Spanish and English. At the time of writing this news, the number has increased by over 200,000 viewers and could continue to rise in the coming hours.

It is clear that the model of broadcasting Lucha Libre AAA live events on YouTube is successful. However, WWE continues to work towards providing Lucha Libre AAA with a television home to air its weekly shows. It seems that was the company's next big goal.
