During a weekend that marked the beginning of a new era, Lucha Libre AAA celebrated Triplemanía 33 which was directed by WWE. The historic event featured the presence of executives from both companies, including Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker. The latter has recently been revealed as the key figure for the WWE and AAA alliance in Mexico to happen.
In a backstage video, WWE's Chief Brand Officer, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, shared his vision about the alliance with Lucha Libre AAA. Triple H made it clear that they are not just guests, but their goal is to help build and grow the wrestling market in Mexico.
Additionally, during the conversation, Triple H revealed that The Undertaker was one of the main figures responsible for making this alliance happen. According to close sources, the Hall of Famer has been making regular trips to Mexico to be directly involved with the product, taking an active role in helping the future of wrestling.
To conclude, Triple H made it clear that the event under his company's direction is not an endpoint, but a beginning. "While an event like TripleManía may feel like the end of a career... this is truly the beginning. This is day one," he stated, promising that the partnership will bring more surprises to the Mexican market.
