Karrion Kross, now once again under the name of Killer Kross, will make his return to the wrestling ring after his departure from WWE and he already has a confirmed date for his first match.
WrestlePro has confirmed on their official Facebook account that Kross will be present at the Killer Smokeshow event, scheduled for Sunday, September 21 at the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, New Jersey. His opponent has not been revealed yet.
The wrestler will not be alone in his return: his inseparable companion Scarlett will accompany him to the show, which is directly named after the couple. It will be Kross' first match since his contract with WWE expired earlier this month.
The announcement has sparked great excitement among independent wrestling fans, who see Kross' return as one of the major attractions of the fall. The show will come just two weeks after the Alwayz Ready event by the same promoter.
Although this will be his first match after leaving the Stamford company, Kross already has several wrestling convention appearances scheduled throughout the year, although he will not be stepping into the ring at those events. The question now is who will be Killer Kross' first opponent in this new phase. The only certainty is that his return to the independent circuit is generating huge anticipation among fans.
Despite this appearance in WrestlePro, many still believe that Kross will return to WWE at an unexpected moment.
