Adam Priest, one of the most outstanding talents on the independent circuit, recently appeared on the ROH television programming to compete for the company's World Championship, which caught the attention of fans. Later, the wrestler reappeared to announce that he will be working with The Workhorsemen from now on. This led many fans to believe that Priest had signed a contract with AEW/ROH. However, that would not be the case, as Fightful pointed out in a recent report.

"In a recent episode of Ring of Honor, the prominent independent wrestler Adam Priest appeared and revealed that he will be working alongside The Workhorsemen. Posts circulated on social media that gained attention stating that 'he hinted in ROH that he has officially signed a month ago'. Although that statement is contradictory in itself, we have learned more details about it," the outlet wrote.

"Fightful Select reported, through sources close to Adam Priest, that he currently does not have a contract with any company, much less with All Elite Wrestling or Ring of Honor. For now, he remains a free agent, although there are plans for him to continue working with the ROH brand," Fightful wrote.

"Adam Priest has long been considered one of the best unsigned talents in professional wrestling. At 29 years old, he has worked fairly regularly in ROH this year, competing in seven matches since January, including a match for the ROH World title against Bandido. He has also appeared on television in MLW, NXT, and is a regular wrestler in Deadlock Pro Wrestling, where he is currently the world champion," the report concluded.

Priest's relationship with AEW/ROH dates back to 2020, when the wrestler participated in some AEW Dark shows. More recently, he has appeared on some episodes of AEW Collision as a guest talent, although all his matches ended in defeat. With his new stage in Ring of Honor, it is expected that fans will continue to get to know one of the most sought-after talents in the independent scene.
