The reign of Tiffany Stratton with the Women's Championship of WWE has surprised many fans, not only because of its length - which now totals 228 days - but also because of the rivals she has defeated to retain the gold around her waist. Many assumed that Tiffany would lose the championship to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania... but that didn't happen. Tiffany not only defeated one of the best wrestlers in the company, but they both also put on a show worthy of the event.

Later, at SummerSlam, Stratton defended the title against Jade Cargill in another match where the challenger was the favorite... but the champion retained once again. However, the match barely exceeded seven minutes in duration, something that was criticized by a sector of the fans. Tiffany, however, believes that the duration was appropriate for the story they were telling.

"We didn't have this crazy life or death story heading into SummerSlam, so I didn't feel like we needed a 40-minute intense fight. It was a very competitive match. Very fast. That was all we really needed. I am very satisfied with how my match with Jade Cargill went," said Stratton in a recent appearance on Babyfaces Podcast.

The rivalry between the two women will continue in the coming weeks. Jade has reiterated several times that she covered Tiffany in that match, and that only luck - one of Stratton's feet touched one of the ring ropes - allowed her to retain the gold. Tiffany, on the other hand, has stated that she has no problem putting the gold on the line again to prove that "the result will always be the same." But, before that happens, the champion will have to defend the title once again against Nia Jax.
