Bubba the Love Sponge was one of the voices who claimed that Hulk Hogan was in poor health just weeks before the legend passed away. Hogan died on July 24 at the age of 71 after suffering a heart attack. However, Bubba believes that the truth is being hidden and that Hogan did not die of natural causes.

"Someone made a mistake, someone is covering up, and someone killed Hulk Hogan. That's what I'm saying. That's my opinion," Bubba said in a recent video posted on his YouTube channel, The Bubba Army.

"Yes, let me qualify my opinion by saying that I was completely discredited as a crazy person, as a big-mouthed fat guy who was a sensationalist radio host, as someone who had a personal issue with Terry, when I was the only person telling you that Terry wasn't well and could die," he continued. "Eric Bischoff, Brian Blair, Jimmy Hart, Nick Hogan... they all said I was crazy."

It is worth noting that Hogan's family did not authorize an autopsy, which, combined with the lack of a toxicology report and an official investigation by the county coroner (as it was determined to be a natural death), has led Bubba to firmly believe that the true cause of the legend's death is being hidden.

Bubba pointed out that Dr. Gerald Joseph Fitzgerald Jr., Hogan's personal physician, was the only one to certify the cause of the legend's death - an acute myocardial infarction - which means that no official agency examined the body. "He could have said 'run over by a unicorn' and no one would have questioned it. There's no way to confirm it", Bubba said.

Hulk Hogan's funeral took place on August 5 in a private ceremony at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida. The event was attended by numerous personalities from the industry, as well as colleagues and close friends of the legend, such as Vince McMahon or Eric Bischoff. Hogan's body will be cremated on a date yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, his daughter Brooke has offered to cover the expenses of an autopsy to clarify certain questions about her father's death.
