WWE expands the match card for NXT Heatwave 2025

In a special edition of WWE NXT held in Philadelphia, the night was filled with great matches. The show featured an intense Street Fight between Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs, as well as a main event to determine the next challenger for Oba Femi. Additionally, several matches were confirmed for the brand's next event, Heatwave, which will take place this weekend.

First, Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, and Lola Vice will face off in a triple threat match to determine the next contender for the NXT Women's Championship. The current champion is Jacy Jayne, who will also have a tough challenge at the event when she defends the Knockouts World Championship against two dangerous opponents.

In another title match, it was confirmed that the current Tag Team Champions, Hank and Tank, will take on two members of the chaotic faction DarkState. Additionally, Chelsea Green and the North American Champion, Ethan Page, will team up in a mixed tag team match to face Tyra Mae Steele and Tavion Heights.

And finally, Oba Femi will defend the NXT Championship against Je'Von Evans. Tonight, in the main event, Evans earned his title shot after a tough match against NXT Champion Trick Williams. Heatwave 2025 will take place on August 26th from Lowell, Massachusetts.
