Bronson Reed revealed the severity of the injury he suffered at Survivor Series: War Games last year, when he executed his devastating Tsunami from the top of the cage onto Roman Reigns. In the final second, CM Punk moved the Universal Champion aside and Reed ended up crashing onto a table, fracturing his right foot.

In the RAW Recap podcast, Reed explained the ordeal he went through after that impact: "I completely broke the talus bone in two. I had my foot elevated for three months. My leg atrophied. I had to rebuild muscle, learn to walk, then run, then jump, and finally get back in the ring."

The wrestler added that the recovery has not been easy: "In daily life, walking and running are painful. But when I'm in the ring, I forget about it. For some reason, doctors say I can do it all there. Wrestling is what brought me back."

Permanent pain and reduced mobility

Reed admitted that his right foot will never be 100% again: "My mobility in this foot will never be complete again. My new 100% is 75% of normal mobility. But I do what I have to do: I tape up my foot, put on my boots, and go out to hit people."

Despite continuing to experience daily pain, Reed has no intention of stopping. Despite his bravery, many criticized the 'unnecessary' risk the wrestler took by exposing himself in that way with such a dangerous jump, considering his weight and muscle mass.
