Mercedes Moné could capture another title before Forbidden Door 2025

Mercedes Moné's idyll with title collecting seems to have no end. Despite her defeat against Toni Storm at AEW All In Texas, the current TBS Champion could add a new championship to her record. If she does, it would be the eighth title she currently holds.

In this case, it is the Discovery Wrestling Women's Championship, an independent company based in Edinburgh. In this match, Moné will put her Undisputed UK Championship on the line, while the Champion of the Scottish company, Emersyn Jayne, will do the same.

The match will take place this Friday, August 22, at the RevPro Global Wars event. The fourth defense of Moné's title will happen at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London. Many are already betting on a sure victory for the one who was once Sasha Banks, but still, many are eager to see the showdown.

Other very interesting matches have also been confirmed for the show. One of them is the Wild Card All-Star Tag Team, where the team of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Mike Bayley, Michael Oku, Katsuyori Shibata, and the Spanish Zozaya will face Kyle Fletcher, Hechicero, Robbie X, and the Cowboy Way team. Additionally, TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater will face Francisco Akira. The event can be watched on RevPro on Demand.

Meanwhile, Moné will take advantage of AEW's tour in the UK to make several appearances in the different independent companies where she is champion. In this case, she is scheduled to wrestle a total of four times in five days (two in AEW and two in independents). Many companies choose to give their top title to Mercedes Moné. While her champion's appearances are very limited, the exposure she gives them is immense compared to what another female wrestler could offer.
