Since his departure from WWE on August 11, the media focus has been on knowing what will be the next steps for Karrion Kross and Scarlett. While some point out that it is part of a creative story of the company itself, others associate their future with AEW. However, the reality is that Kross's future is quite uncertain.
In an interview with Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, AAA producer and wrestling legend Savio Vega was asked about the possibility of signing a former WWE wrestler, who has bought the Mexican company itself. In response, Vega explained that the decision to hire Kross would go through WWE and TKO.
"The main company is WWE, everything has to go through them. AAA is under the umbrella of WWE and TKO, they will decide who will be there or not," Vega stated.
In the interview, Vega was asked if, regardless of what WWE thinks, he would sign Kross for AAA. The Puerto Rican stated that he only sees it possible in the long term. "That is something we need to see in the long term. AAA has so many wrestlers and we see some guys in Worlds Collide and others in the other show. Let's see how many will be in Las Vegas (WrestleMania 42 will take place there). They have so many people, to say yes would be lying, to be honest", Vega replied.
Currently, Kross is leveraging all his popularity to tackle various projects, but without a clear path. Yesterday, he confirmed his presence at the Killer Smokeshow show by WrestlePro, although this is probably the first of many appearances in the independent scene.
