In a preview of their showdown at Forbidden Door, the most recent edition of AEW Dynamite became a battleground for the groups of Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley. The night in Scotland started with a segment full of action and surprises that quickly escalated into an all-out war throughout the arena.

The conflict began with an emotional promo by Will Ospreay, who confessed to feeling fear for the first time in his career. Despite not having medical clearance for Forbidden Door, Ospreay stated that he would take the risk for his legacy and to avenge the Death Riders. Will then directly challenged Jon Moxley who came out accompanied by the Death Riders but before they could attack him, JetSpeed came to Ospreay's rescue.

The segment led to a chaotic tag team match between the Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta) and the team of Hiroshi Tanahashi and JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and Speedball Mike Bailey). In the climax of the match, Ospreay's group achieved victory after a distracting moment involving a bag supposedly containing Marina Shafir, allowing Tanahashi to finish off Yuta with the High Fly Flow.

Tanahashi's victory unleashed an all-out battle. Chaos took over the ring as the War Dogs and the Death Riders attacked the winners, while The Young Bucks joined the fray to attack Ospreay on the ramp. With the action escalating out of control, the Death Riders focused on the bag, trying to get Marina out.

But the surprise came when the bag was opened, revealing a frenzied Darby Allin, who joined the assault alongside The Opps, Samoa Joe, and Shibata. The massive confrontation spread throughout ringside and the audience, with Darby Allin launching a spectacular Coffin Drop from a balcony to seal the incredible segment.
