During AEW Dynamite, the final of the Tournament to determine the next challengers for the World Tag Team Championships took place. In a spectacular event, two high-level teams faced off: FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler), a duo with great experience and years of knowing each other, against their rivals, the revelation team of the Tournament, Brodido (Bandido and Brody King).

The match started evenly until FTR took the advantage, resorting to aggressive tactics to get their opponents out of the ring. Then FTR's manager, Stokely Hathaway, intervened to hit Brody King with an object hidden in his sling. The impact caused a deep cut on King's face, which ignited Bandido's fury and allowed him to take control of the match.

The bloody Brody returned to the ring to unleash his brute force against FTR, while Bandido executed his characteristic aerial moves. The teams engaged in a relentless war, exchanging their finishing moves, but pinfalls were broken at the last second. The match remained intense, with FTR punishing King on the edge of the ring and Bandido reversing a Shatter Machine into a DDT.

As the clock reached the 30-minute mark, both teams became desperate to secure the victory. The climax came with the wrestlers outside the ring, unable to return for the 10 count. The bell rang, confirming that time had expired and the match had ended in an epic draw. As a result, Tony Khan confirmed that both teams, FTR and Brodido, have earned an opportunity for the World Tag Team Championships and will face The Hurt Syndicate at Forbidden Door.
