CMLL unveils the full card for International Grand Prix 2025

The nineteenth edition of the International Grand Prix of the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre will take place next Friday, August 29th, an event that will turn the Arena México into the epicenter of the world of professional wrestling. The tournament will bring together ten representatives from the home team against ten top-level foreign wrestlers in a clash that promises intense emotions.

This year, the prestigious competition will feature talent from companies such as New Japan Pro Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, Major League Wrestling, RevPro, and NJPW Strong, reflecting the importance of the international alliances maintained by CMLL.

The chosen ones to defend the Mexican flag are: Místico, Volador Jr., Atlantis Jr., Máscara Dorada, Neón, Templario, Titán, Ángel de Oro, Zandokan Jr., and El Difunto. Their opponents will be Mike Bailey, Rocky Romero, Taiji Ishimori, The Beast Mortos, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, Michael Oku, TJP, Robbie X, and Donovan Dijak.

The event will also feature a special semifinal in which, after a long time, Último Guerrero and Rey Bucanero will join forces again to face Averno and El Felino. In another highlighted match, Esfinge and Dragón Rojo Jr. will team up to take on El Valiente and Bárbaro Cavernario.

The evening's hostilities will kick off with Valiente Jr. and Capitán Suicida facing off in a tag team match against Raider and Vegas Depredador. Undoubtedly, an explosive start to a night that promises to be unforgettable.
