WWE recovered its classic Saturday Night's Main Event for the NBC network at the end of last year. That show, held in New York, was very well received by fans, who were able to enjoy several matches in an atmosphere reminiscent of the beloved 90s. The referee team, the ring ropes, the WWE logo, and even the appearance of the classic Winged Eagle Championship, were elements that contributed to the enjoyment of the fans.
Since then, the company has held a total of four events, completing a cycle that has now come to an end. Yesterday, it was announced that the WWE special will be exclusively broadcast on Peacock starting from its next edition, which will take place on November 1. However, the venue that will host this show was not indicated... until now.
This afternoon, during the broadcast of the most recent episode of WrestleVotes Radio, it was revealed that the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, will be the stadium to host the event. The venue, which has a capacity for 20,000 spectators, has hosted several WWE weekly shows since 2023, including four editions of Friday Night SmackDown.
While waiting for WWE to officially confirm the venue for the November 1 show, fans' attention remains on the December 13 edition, which will also mark the end of John Cena's retirement tour. This will be the final date for "The Greatest of All Time", in which he will have his last match of his professional career.
