A controversy has arisen on social media in the last few hours, when Alexis Lete, a former recruit of the WWE Performance Center, accused Cora Jade (now known as Elayna Black) of harassing her during her brief time in the company. Lete, a model and former volleyball player, signed in 2022 but was released the following year. In a recent interview, she pointed to Jade as one of her "main harassers," while describing Roxanne Perez as a "lovely person."

Lete recounted that Jade pressured her to delete a TikTok video that supposedly exposed too much of the business, and stated that this experience negatively impacted her time at the Performance Center.

Jade's response was swift. Through a long series of tweets, she denied the accusations and stated that this would be the only time she would address the issue: "This girl arrived at the PC (Performance Center) and immediately had issues with everyone due to her lack of respect. I even tried to help her so she wouldn't get more heat, but she told me off and continued accumulating problems until several main roster talents intervened. Only then did she come to me to apologize."

Jade claimed to have accepted the apologies, although she emphasized that she did not respect the way Lete handled the situation or her attitude towards wrestling: "I come from the independent scene, I have always loved this business and I deeply respect it. I can't say the same about her." Regarding the harassment accusation, the former WWE wrestler was firm: "I spoke with her a total of five times at most. Am I direct? Yes. Bullying? That's crazy."

After the incident, Jade posted a mysterious screenshot showing an active call with the contact "Lawyer." She did not include any comments, but the gesture led many fans to speculate about a possible legal action against Lete.

The unexpected turn came when, following Lete's accusations, users on social media unearthed old tweets from Lete herself. In messages posted between 2012 and 2014, racist and homophobic expressions appeared, including the use of the forbidden word "N" and derogatory terms against the LGBTQ+ community. These findings sparked a wave of criticism against Lete, casting doubt on her credibility amid the dispute.

Cora Jade, whose real name is Brianna Coda and who previously made her name on the independent circuit as Elayna Black, was released from WWE on May 2, 2025, amid a wave of NXT roster cuts. The wrestler explained that just days earlier she had pitched several creative ideas to an executive but felt ignored and manipulated, describing the experience as “gaslighting.” Her departure quickly sparked debate among fans, and she confirmed on social media that she intends to resume her career under the Elayna Black name once her non-compete clause expires.
