WWE has held a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown this afternoon, this time from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The show was pre-recorded on Netflix internationally and featured some important matches and moments, highlighting the match between Charlotte Flair and Piper Niven.
Charlotte Flair found herself at a disadvantage this time, as Alexa Bliss did not accompany her to the ring. The match was uneven, with the members of Green Regime interfering constantly. The Queen, despite her experience, held on as much as she could, but ultimately succumbed in the final moments.
Charlotte Flair attempted the Moonsault, but couldn't secure the three count. Later, she struck Chelsea Green and applied the Figure 8 on Piper Niven, but Green returned and scratched Flair's eyes without the referee seeing it. Piper Niven took advantage of the moment to hit the Michinoku Driver and secure the victory with the three count.
Charlotte Flair has been embroiled in a rivalry with The Green Regime, the stable formed by Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Alba Fyre. Inevitably, Alexa Bliss has also been involved in the story because she shares the tag team championship reign with The Queen in WWE.
Last week, Alexa Bliss defeated Piper Niven with a roll-up. However, after the match, the tag team champions were attacked. Chelsea Green and The Secret Service stood victorious over their victims to end the segment.
