WWE has held a new episode of Friday Night SmackDown this afternoon, this time from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland. The show was pre-taped for Netflix internationally and featured some important matches and moments, highlighting Aleister Black's return to SmackDown.

Originally, WWE scheduled a singles match between R-Truth and Aleister Black, but the match did not take place. Last week, in a backstage interview, R-Truth expressed his satisfaction at having reunited with his childhood hero: John Cena. Aleister Black intervened and criticized him for forgetting about Damian Priest and what Cena did. That's why he challenged him to a match for the following week.

In Dublin, Aleister Black appeared to face R-Truth, but was left disappointed. R-Truth appeared on one of the side screens and announced that he couldn't travel to Europe, but he had a surprise for Black: a substitute. Damian Priest made his entrance and elicited a great reaction from the audience. Priest pulled Black out of the ring and, after a struggle, attempted to Powerbomb Black onto a table. However, a large number of attendees appeared in time to stop him.

Damian Priest has been absent in recent weeks as a result of a brutal attack by Aleister Black on August 1. It was reported that Priest was going to take a few weeks off to heal some lingering injuries. It seems that their rivalry will be reignited from this point on.
