WWE closed the SmackDown show in Dublin with a message: Brock Lesnar is still alive. Nick Aldis, WWE General Manager, appeared from backstage to warn John Cena about news regarding The Beast. However, Logan Paul intervened, hit Cena, and left through the garage area.
This scene was re-recorded for USA Network. Several American fans have been able to confirm this as they have posted both shots simultaneously, demonstrating that WWE recorded a second sequence. In the USA Network version, the image is more frontal, although the message remains the same.
So far, no one has detailed why WWE decided to make this change, although it seems to be an aesthetic matter rather than a script problem. The recording for USA Network appears more professional, but we would like to hear your opinion in the comment box.
The conversation is of great importance, as the rivalry between John Cena and Brock Lesnar began at SummerSlam but was left at that event, as there had been no news of The Beast since then. Internally, according to some sources, WWE has decided that the match between both wrestlers will take place at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, although it has not been confirmed yet.
Before that is confirmed, it is very likely that John Cena will conclude his rivalry with Logan Paul at Clash in Paris. The two wrestlers had an encounter on the same episode of SmackDown, where Cena delivered a great promo and knocked out Paul with the Attitude Adjustment.
