WWE will return to Australia in the month of October. This had already been announced, although in the last few hours, the expansion of the tour with a house show in Melbourne has been confirmed. It will be the first time WWE visits the city in six years. The last time they did, they held a house show in 2019.
"WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), announced its return to Melbourne, Australia, for the first time in six years, at the Rod Laver Arena on Wednesday, October 15," WWE wrote in its official press release.
"Fans attending WWE SuperShow Australia will see their favorite WWE superstars in action, including Australian Rhea Ripley, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, AJ Styles, IYO SKY, World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh, The New Day, and many more."
WWE's tour in Australia is marked by the celebration of Crown Jewel on October 11, although the company will also hold two televised shows that weekend, a Friday Night SmackDown on October 10 and an episode of Monday Night Raw on October 13. All three shows will take place in Perth.
It is worth noting that WWE will take advantage of its trip to Australia to hold two shows in Japan on October 17 and 18.
