WWE carried out new tapings of its weekly show Main Event last week, just before the live broadcast of SmackDown at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, and Raw on Netflix, an event held at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The company recorded two matches that have been broadcasted in recent days on Hulu Plus and internationally on the official YouTube channel of the company. In this news article, we will provide the most detailed results of this show and the full show, which you can watch below.
- Rey Fenix defeated Kit Wilson in a singles match. The match started very evenly, with both wrestlers trying to dominate each other, until the Mexican took control thanks to his great agility. Wilson escaped to ringside to catch his breath. Upon his return, he tried to overpower the masked man, whom he managed to damage in one of the corners. Fenix tried to counter the British wrestler's offense with a Roundhouse Kick, but Kit immediately responded with a Discus Lariat, which ended with both men lying on the mat. This led to the final phase of the match, with Fenix and Wilson exchanging attacks. Rey survived a Twisted Diving Elbowdrop to respond with a Tightrope Penalty Kick, followed by a definitive Mexican Muscle Buster.
- A video recap was shown of the opener of the last episode of Monday Night Raw, where Jey Uso and Bron Breakker agreed to face each other in an extreme rules match in the main event of the show.
- The next segment focused on the rivalry between Dominik Mysterio and El Hijo del Vikingo, from their match at Triplemanía XXXIII to their confrontation on WWE Raw, which ended with "Dirty Dom" raising his opponent's Intercontinental Championship and AAA Mega Championship.
- A summary was shown of the segment in which Naomi announced her pregnancy and vacated the Women's World Championship.
- El Grande Americano defeated Cruz Del Toro in a singles match. The two men started the match with a very technical phase. It came to an end when Del Toro used his agility to throw his opponent out of the ring, just before launching a suicide dive. El Grande Americano stopped his opponent's offense by making him fall from the top of one of the corners, thus taking the advantage in the fight. Cruz kicked the masked man to regain control. A missile dropkick, followed by a springboard moonsault, almost gave him the victory, but his opponent was not willing to lose. Both men started a new exchange of attacks, which Americano ended with a precise enziguri. The masked man applied a Blockbuster to Cruz in an attempt to end the match, but his opponent still had some strength left. Americano then decided to resort to his old strategy, placing a metal plate under his mask behind the referee's back (Jessika Carr) and seeking height for his final attack. Del Toro managed to recover in time to kick Americano before throwing him to the mat with a hurricanrana. Cruz then executed a moonsault, but Americano dodged it to respond with a definitive flying headbutt reinforced with the metal hidden under his mask. The masked man only had to cover Del Toro to claim victory.
- The show concluded with a recap of the Raw main event, where CM Punk, LA Knight, and Roman Reigns intervened to face The Vision while Jey Uso secured an important victory over Bron Breakker in an extreme rules match.
