Brian Josie, known to WWE fans as Abraham Washington, experienced one of the toughest episodes of his life last month. As reported by the podcast Duke Loves Rasslin, the former WWE superstar was hospitalized in July 2025 and, due to unexpected medical complications, had to be connected to a life support system.
"Brian Josie, who was Abraham Washington in WWE and the first manager of Cryme Tyme, had serious health problems last month. He entered the hospital for one reason and shortly after everything became complicated to the point of needing life support," Duke, the host, recounted.
The situation was alarming, but Josie managed to turn it around thanks to the constant support of his partner, Marnay, who stayed by his side during almost a month of hospitalization. Shortly before this episode, Josie had surprised many by participating in a bodybuilding tournament, making the sudden crisis even more impactful.
Fortunately, the recovery has been positive. In the same podcast, it was confirmed that the former WWE star has already been discharged and has returned home: "In summary, he was recently discharged, he is at home, he can walk on his own, and he is practically recovered," Duke explained.
Remembered for his role as Abraham Washington and as the first manager of Cryme Tyme, Josie has received messages of support from fans, who can follow his recovery process through his Instagram account.
