Adam Copeland and Christian Cage pick up the victory at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025

This evening, AEW and NJPW held the 2025 edition of Forbidden Door, a show that featured great championship matches and memorable moments. In a tag team match, the legendary duo of Adam Copeland and Christian Cage made their return. Despite their internal conflicts, the pair emerged victorious over Kip Sabian and Killswitch.

The match started with Adam and Sabian, where Copeland used his tactics to take control, getting in and out of the ring to surprise Kip with a strike at ringside. After receiving the tag, Christian unleashed several punches on Sabian. However, the advantage didn't last long, as with the entrance of Killswitch, the opposing team managed to dominate, forcing Christian to desperately seek the tag from his partner.

The duo of Killswitch and Sabian took control, with Killswitch throwing Kip for a Cannonball onto Copeland outside the ring, and later, handing over the tag with a hard chest strike that made him fall. Mom Wayne also intervened by distracting Christian until Adam managed to turn the momentum around with a powerful Spear on Kip Sabian.

Adam's return revitalized his team, allowing Christian to take the tag and deliver a series of Chops on Killswitch. Although Killswitch stopped him with a headbutt, Christian recovered and launched himself at him outside the ring. Then, Adam delivered a Spear to Kip who was on Christian's shoulders, and the pair combined their forces to finish with a Spear on Killswitch. Finally, a Spear from Copeland on Kip sealed their significant victory.
