On a great night for NXT celebrating Heatwave 2025, the brand experienced two important coronations. DarkState won the tag team titles, and Ash by Elegance became the new Knockouts World Champion. In addition to these results, important announcements were made for the upcoming brand shows.

First, it was announced that NXT will return to its former home, Full Sail University, for the show on September 16. The venue, which was the brand's home for many years and witnessed some of the best matches of the "golden era," will now once again host NXT talent.

The last time NXT was at Full Sail was in 2020, before the broadcasts moved to the WWE Performance Center. In addition to this return, another confirmed event for the month of October is the 2025 edition of Halloween Havoc, which will take place on October 25 in Prescott Valley.

Since its inception in 2020, Halloween Havoc had been held in Florida until 2023. However, last year, the show took place in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where the main event was a Devil's Playground Match for the NXT Championship between Trick Williams and Ethan Page.
