Although The Undertaker officially retired in 2020, that doesn't mean he has completely disappeared from the spotlight. The legendary wrestler once again showed that his presence remains magnetic, and this time he did so by making a surprise appearance at the Gambler Days event of Pro Bull Riding, broadcast on The CW.
The official PBR account shared a video on social media of the moment when The Phenom made his entrance to the stage with his iconic music and a display of pyrotechnics. As if it were a WWE show, The Undertaker walked the catwalk and stood in front of the participating teams, including the world champions, the Austin Gamblers.
The Deadman, despite having hung up his boots five years ago, continues to surprise with special appearances that have nothing to do with wrestling. His cameo in this rodeo show made it clear that his aura transcends wrestling and continues to attract thousands of fans wherever he goes.
This is not the first time The Undertaker has surprised in an unexpected setting. In 2023, he appeared at a soccer match in Saudi Arabia, where he made an entrance with all his usual flair before the initial kick-off. Even Cristiano Ronaldo, present at the stadium, was amazed by the Deadman's performance, a moment that went viral on social media.
The Undertaker has been in the news this week for his involvement with Lucha Libre AAA. According to several American media outlets, the Deadman was one of the people who drove the acquisition of the company. Taker was seen in the locker room of Lucha Libre AAA Triplemanía last weekend.
Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is no longer owned by Endeavor; since February 2025, it has been part of TKO Group Holdings, the same company that controls WWE and UFC. This change stems from a $3.25 billion agreement announced in October 2024, through which TKO acquired PBR, as well as IMG and On Location, from its parent company Endeavor. The agreement was formally closed in the first half of 2025.
