This evening a new episode of Monday Night Raw has been held, this time from the bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The show was broadcast in advance on Netflix internationally and featured some important fights and moments, highlighting the match between Penta and Kofi Kingston.

Kofi Kingston arrived accompanied by Xavier Woods and Grayson Waller, who currently serves as New Day's lackey. Waller wasted no time in causing trouble, trying to distract the Mexican. Kingston made an escape attempt, but decided to return after a cut. The fight moved to ringside, where Kingston threw Penta onto the commentator's table and almost won by a ten count.

Back in the ring, Kingston took control, but Penta regained the upper hand after a few minutes. Penta tried to finish the fight with the Penta Driver, but Kingston dodged it, performed a Leg Drop, and went for the pin, only reaching two. Penta tried again, this time successfully, but Kofi Kingston surprisingly kicked out at two.

Ending the match, Penta took care of his opponents, jumping twice to ringside. Penta returned and tried to execute the Mexican Destroyer, but Grayson Waller distracted him, Kofi Kingston avoided the Mexican Destroyer from the corner and delivered the Trouble in Paradise to secure the victory by a three count.

The feud between both sides began on the Raw episode of August 4, when Penta faced Grayson Waller with Kofi Kingston and Woods watching from ringside. During the brawl after the match, Woods lost his huge hat, which Penta didn't hesitate to put on while performing his characteristic Smooth Operator gesture, causing the indignation of the member of The New Day.

In the following week's episode, Woods stated that the garment was worth $12,000 and accused Penta of mocking him. Pearce quickly intervened, confirming that they would face off on the Raw show of August 18, a match won by the masked wrestler that ended with Woods in a neck brace.
