John Cena and Brock Lesnar will face each other again at WrestlePalooza on September 20 in Springfield, but everything indicates that they will do so without having shared the ring or face-to-face promos in the previous weeks. The reason is simple: both of their tight schedules make any televised interaction before the big event difficult.

Cena, immersed in his farewell tour, has only 10 confirmed appearances before his definitive retirement. Among them, his participation in SmackDown in Lyon, his match against Logan Paul in Clash in Paris, and two specific dates aimed at promoting the confrontation with Lesnar: a SmackDown in Chicago on September 5 and the WrestlePalooza in Springfield itself.

On the other hand, Brock Lesnar is only scheduled for two televised appearances in September, one on the 12th and the other on the 19th, just on the eve of the big event. This makes it practically impossible for both of them to coincide on the same show before the fight.

This situation forces WWE to rethink the construction of the fight, which will probably be based on recorded promos and videos instead of the traditional face-to-face encounters. However, it is likely that the company believes that the fight does not need much more promotion beyond the announcement.

It is worth noting that WWE has not yet confirmed any matches for Wrestlepalooza, an event that you can follow live here on Solowrestling. It is very likely that the company is waiting to get past Clash in Paris to start confirming the card. What is clear is that WWE wants to go all out because it will be the premiere of broadcasting premium events on the new ESPN platform.
