While much of the wrestling world has unequivocally condemned Raja Jackson for his brutal attack on Syko Stu, which left the wrestler hospitalized, Mark Henry has broken ranks with some surprising statements. In an interview with TMZ Sports, the WWE Hall of Famer suggested that the true responsibility might lie with Syko Stu himself.

"What I saw looked like he wasn't aware of what was going on. And the guy who was messing with him bit off more than he could chew. You have to be careful who you mess with and what example you set, as a veteran, to incite a kid."

Henry explained that the incident puts both KnokX Pro and those involved in a bad position, and that the blow to Syko Stu's image could be even worse. He recalled that in earlier times, losing a fight could mean losing your job, and emphasized that, although times have changed, respect should still be maintained in the locker room.

The former WWE world champion even suggested that if it is confirmed that there was alcohol consumption before the show and that Stu broke a beer bottle over Jackson's head while taunting him, then the blame would be on Syko Stu himself.

If what I really saw was what I saw - people before the show, during the day, drinking and intoxicated or partially drunk - and you go and break a bottle over a guy's head and talk trash as if that guy wasn't going to do anything… yes, the blame is on you.

These words clash with the version of other witnesses, who claim that Syko Stu had already apologized and shaken hands with Jackson before the match. For now, the Los Angeles police continue to investigate the attack, which has been classified as a possible attempted murder. On social media, the majority of fans are keeping the pressure for Raja Jackson to be arrested, but Henry's statements have sparked a new debate on the case.

Rampage Jackson mentions racism

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, the well-known MMA fighter and father of Raja Jackson, has reported receiving death threats after the violent incident involving his son, Raja Jackson, against Syko Stu last weekend. The former UFC champion told TMZ Sports that since Saturday night his social media has been filled with insults and hateful messages.

"There are a lot of racist people sending me death threats and such," he said. He also stated that some users have called him a 'bad father'. "It's unjustified," he added. Rampage avoided going further into the case, claiming that "everything I say gets twisted."

The altercation began when Syko Stu hit Raja with a beer can in what was supposed to be a planned spot. Minutes later, Raja stormed into the ring to seek "his revenge," but the situation spiraled out of control and ended with Stu unconscious and receiving a barrage of real punches. The wrestler, whose real name is Stuart Smith, was hospitalized with serious head injuries, although his brother confirmed that he is now conscious and talking. A GoFundMe campaign to cover his medical expenses has raised over $60,000.
