Just a few days away from the celebration of Clash in Paris, WWE has announced a new and surprising alliance with Paris Saint-Germain, one of the most important football clubs in the world. The long-term strategic agreement brings together the giant of sports entertainment with the team that dominates the French league and that lifted the UEFA Champions League trophy for the first time in 2025.
Both brands will work together in multiple areas with the aim of reaching new audiences and strengthening their global presence. The collaboration includes everything from the creation of original content to the production of exclusive merchandise, as well as community programs, fan engagement initiatives, and unique experiences that will connect PSG footballers with WWE superstars.
This pioneering strategic collaboration will explore a wide range of opportunities in different areas, including the creation of original content, exclusive merchandise collections, fan initiatives, community programs, and unique experiences that will connect PSG players and WWE superstars.
The announcement comes at a key moment, as this weekend WWE will celebrate its first premium event in the French capital. Clash in Paris will take place on Sunday, August 31 at La Défense Arena, marking a milestone in the company's expansion in Europe.
PSG, owned by Qatar Sports Investments, is one of the most internationally recognized clubs. In recent years, it has had stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, and currently Ousmane Dembélé, solidifying its image as a global brand. The connection with WWE, which had already made a first approach in 2025 with the presentation of a customized PSG Legacy belt, reinforces this strategy.
France becomes the epicenter of WWE, which will offer three events in the country during the same week: SmackDown in Lyon, followed by Clash in Paris and a new episode of Monday Night Raw also from the capital.
