Brodido from AEW will arrive at CMLL next month

This evening, the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (World Wrestling Council) held a new edition of CMLL Informa, where they made several important announcements for their upcoming events. However, the main news was the confirmation that the newly crowned AEW Tag Team Champions, Brodido, will arrive at Arena México on September 12th.

Before their visit to Mexico, Bandido, half of the AEW Tag Team Champions, will face an important challenge. This Friday, at ROH Death Before Dishonor, Bandido will defend his ROH World Championship against his compatriot and member of the Don Callis Family, Hechicero.

Although it is not the first time that its members visit Arena México, this will be the first occasion that Brodido will perform as a team at the iconic venue. Individually, Bandido has had recent appearances in CMLL, highlighting his match for the ROH World Championship against Mascara Dorada. On the other hand, Brody King also visited the cathedral of wrestling for the AEW Grand Slam Mexico event.

So far, no further details have been revealed about the September 12th event. It is unknown who Brodido's opponents will be or if the match will be for the AEW Championships, but it is expected that CMLL will announce the complete lineup in the coming days.
