Místico wins the CMLL International Grand Prix 2025

Mistico once again wrote a golden page in his career by proclaiming himself the winner of the 2025 International Grand Prix of CMLL. The tournament, which pitted Team Mexico against Team International, took place yesterday, August 29th, in a packed Arena Mexico with the masked wrestler as the absolute protagonist.

The climax came when Mistico eliminated Mike Bailey in the final phase, thus guaranteeing victory for the Mexican team. It was not his only achievement: during the match, he also eliminated Taiji Ishimori, Action Andretti, and TJP, setting the record for most eliminations in the event. His performance reaffirmed his status as a reference and hero for the fans.

With this triumph, Mistico joins Rayo de Jalisco Jr. as a wrestler who has won the prestigious tournament twice. Despite his elimination, Volador Jr. maintains the honor of being the only competitor in the history of the Grand Prix to have lifted the trophy three times.

• 2025 International Grand Prix: Team Mexico (Mistico , Volador Jr., Atlantis Jr., Máscara Dorada, Neón, Templario, Titán, Ángel de Oro, Zandokan Jr., and Difunto) defeated Team International (Mike Bailey, Rocky Romero, Taiji Ishimori, The Beast Mortos, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, Michael Oku, TJP, Robbie X, and Donovan Dijak). Mistico eliminated Bailey to secure the victory.
