Kevin Owens reacts to Sami Zayn’s victory in Lyon

Sami Zayn conquered the United States Championship in Lyon after defeating Solo Sikoa, adding a new achievement to his brilliant career in WWE. The victory did not go unnoticed by his inseparable friend and rival, Kevin Owens, who used X to react to the Canadian's success.

Kevin Owens took advantage of Triple H's classic post, in which he is seen posing with the new champions of the company backstage, to congratulate his friend and describe him as his "number one."

One of the best, without a doubt... For me, the number 1. Still, I hate him. Or maybe not. I don't know, it's hard to remember. I guess it depends on the day. We'll see what happens. The only thing I do know for sure is that he is the best.

Kevin Owens is no stranger to the United States Championship, as he has won it on three occasions: first at WrestleMania 33 by defeating Chris Jericho, and subsequently in two more reigns, including a victory over AJ Styles. He is currently out of action after surgery, but he remains very attentive to what is happening in the division. Owens himself has admitted on more than one occasion that he does not know how long he will be out, although he hopes to be able to return to the ring in 20256.

While Zayn begins a new reign that is already historic for being achieved in European territory, Owens remains in the shadows, torn between pride for his friend and the possibility that in the future they may cross paths for the gold once again.
