Liv Morgan suffered a shoulder injury last June, just a few weeks before WWE Evolution 2, which forced the company to make last-minute changes for both the women's exclusive PLE and SummerSlam. The injury occurred at the worst possible time, as Morgan was one of the most prominent women on Raw's television programming.

That's why many fans have wondered if Liv could reappear on screen to continue participating in The Judgment Day story without the need to compete. Something that, although we have seen in the past with other talents, has ceased to be a resource for the company for a specific reason. This was explained by the specialized media outlet Fightful in response to one of these fans.

"Beyond the desire to have comebacks, crowd reactions, and talent being available once cleared to maximize their use, much of this has to do with contracts. Many times - unless negotiated otherwise - WWE contracts freeze when a wrestler is out of action due to injury. WWE can extend contracts based on the time the wrestler is inactive," wrote Fightful.

"However, if WWE has them working on-screen as performers, that clock keeps ticking and they cannot freeze the contract. This has happened with some wrestlers in the past who continued to make on-screen appearances for WWE and, therefore, were not subject to freezes," the outlet wrote.

Therefore, it seems very unlikely that Liv Morgan will return to television programming unless she already has medical clearance to compete. In her absence, The Judgment Day has added a new member, Roxanne Perez, who was already causing discomfort to Morgan before her injury. A discomfort that Finn Bálor has taken care to keep alive until the return of his partner. Something that could happen in early 2026.
