All Elite Wrestling held a new episode of AEW Collision live from the iconic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania last night. The show featured a lineup full of matches and segments of interest, including a new appearance by Alex Windsor, who won more than just a simple fight.
After her match with Ashley Vox, Windsor was interviewed in the ring. Tony Schiavone reminded her that Mercedes Moné had threatened to send her and her husband (Will Ospreay) to the hospital if they were to face each other again. Upset, the British wrestler pointed out that "The CEO" had crossed a line by mentioning her husband, especially considering his delicate health situation (with surgery on the horizon and an unknown return date to action).
Windsor stated that Moné fears a repeat of what happened the last time they faced off, when she made the champion submit (even though she wasn't the legal wrestler in the match at that time). With that said, she invited her to face off once again, this time in the ring at the 2300 Arena, where she will gladly take the TBS Championship from her while showing her what happens when someone messes with Alex Windsor. Later that same night, the company made the match official, which will take place on the next episode of AEW Dynamite.
This will be Mercedes Moné's twentieth title defense as TBS Champion. A title she won 462 days ago by defeating Willow Nightingale at AEW Double or Nothing 2024. On the other hand, this will be Windsor's second opportunity to win the title after her great performance at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. This time the match will be one-on-one, a unique showdown between the two wrestlers.
AEW Dynamite will take place on September 3, 2025 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Fans can witness this event live from the venue, or through its broadcast on TBS and Max in the USA, FOX Sports in Mexico, and Triller TV internationally. Below is the announced lineup so far.
