In the last few days, there has been a lot of talk about Khan. After the harsh and questionable credibility statements made by Jake Hager about Khan, in which the former Heavyweight Champion accused him of creating a very toxic backstage environment, today Konnan has joined the criticisms of the AEW CEO.

In his appearance on the Keepin' It 100 podcast, the main creative force of AAA talked about how many AEW wrestlers do not have the best relationship with their boss. He explained that, despite Khan reaching a very prestigious position, the reality is that he does not have the necessary characteristics to hold the CEO seat of a wrestling company of such high caliber.

The Cuban particularly highlighted the indecisive and excessively neutral nature of Shahid Khan's son: "He is not a strong leader. He is very indecisive. He tells you one thing, then another, and then another, and you say: 'Bro, you told me this, then that, and now you're telling me this,'" he explained.

Additionally, Konnan mentioned that many male and female wrestlers in the company do not have the best relationship with their boss. He explained that they do not discuss their ideas with him because they only care about receiving a paycheck at the end of the month, emphasizing the lack of respect they have for their boss. "They are getting paid and say: 'Whatever he wants to do.' And I don't want to name names, because there are people to whom I say, 'Why are you doing that?' They respond: 'Tony's idea.' And I ask: 'Why are you doing it?' And they say: 'I don't care. Just pay me. And when you work like that, it's not a good place to be. And he knows he has the power. And he's not someone that many of the guys there who talk to me respect," explained Konnan.

The three-time World Champion added that his statements were not due to any personal resentment, but came from stories of experiences from wrestlers that had reached his ears. He compared his speech to that of Jake Hager, and stated that he believes more statements like his and Hager's will come out soon. "You're hearing it from Jack Swagger. You've heard bits from other people, and over time you'll hear even more. And in the end, people will say: 'You know what, Konnan was right,' because I have no reason to lie. I have no reason to make things up. There's no reason. I'm telling you how it is," concluded the AAA Hall of Fame member.
