After leaving WWE, Quetzalli Bulnes remained connected to the world of wrestling by joining AAA, where she worked as a host at various events and special broadcasts. Her presence became a bridge between the audience and the wrestlers, bringing freshness and a recognizable voice to the programming of the Mexican company. However, her time at AAA also recently came to an end, leaving Bulnes in a moment of uncertainty about whether she will continue to be involved in wrestling or take a different path in her professional career.
Now, through her YouTube account, Bulnes has explained why she doesn't know if she will remain linked to the world of wrestling, confirming her departure from Lucha Libre AAA, which was made official during the weekend of Triplemanía XXXIII.
"My dismissal from WWE has affected me too much. Many friends turned their backs on me and the other person involved did not tell the truth. I was alone and sick when I received the news, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Now I've also been let go from AAA, and honestly, I don't know what to do... I don't know if I should continue in wrestling or distance myself from it," she confessed in front of the camera.
"A part of me regrets accepting WWE's offer 7 years ago, because I had everything to succeed in horror movies: I had won an award in Los Angeles and I left it all for wrestling," she stated. "I didn't always have a good time during my time at WWE: I went crazy," she continued explaining. "The team in the United States was amazing."
During the video, Quetzalli recalled the tough time she went through when she was fired from WWE and insisted that another person was involved in it. "It led me to a very severe and serious physical condition, the following months were very delicate," she commented. "I saw betrayal from some WWE colleagues."
Her arrival at Lucha Libre AAA was not difficult, due to the "acceptance of some wrestlers," although she was very comfortable in the company and finally felt like she had been part of a family. After two years of working there, she found out about her departure, and admitted that no one gave her answers until she spoke directly with Doarian Roldán: "He thanked me a lot, but he told me that there would no longer be a collaboration."
Bulnes and YouTuber Falbak went viral during WrestleMania 38 weekend. Both were part of the WWE Spanish team and were protagonists of a curious story that many dubbed as "the best WrestleMania storyline." On screen, a romantic relationship between them seemed to be hinted at, although it was never officially confirmed.
During the second show of WWE's most recent tour in Mexico, Falbak and Quetzalli surprised the audience with an unexpected scene. During the intermission, Quetzalli mentioned that she had a surprise for him, and at that moment, Falbak decided to jump over the security barrier. Byron Saxton's reaction was one of amazement, while a security staff member intervened, stopping when realizing it was part of a planned segment... or at least that's what was believed at that moment.
Close sources pointed out that this incident was the reason for the presenter's dismissal, as she would have made the decision on her own initiative. Days later, Falbak posted a video on YouTube offering his version, ensuring that he jumped because Bulnes, "someone working within the company," suggested it.
With WWE's acquisition of AAA, there was speculation that many talents from the Mexican company would end up leaving due to budget cuts. The most striking case was that of Alberto El Patrón, who left the company several weeks ago. It seems that Quetzalli left Lucha Libre AAA for the same reason.
