WWE Evolve Results 03/09/2025

- Sean Legacy defeated Ice Williams after applying the Shambles.

- Chuey Martinez interviewed Legacy after the match. Sean stated that his ultimate goal is still the WWE Evolve Championship, but for now, he is focused on gaining victories to build confidence in himself. Edric Enofé interrupted the interview to "congratulate" Legacy on his growth in Evolve and agreed with him on one point: Legacy is not ready to carry the gold. That being said, Enofé pointed out that once Stevie Turner names him the number one contender, he hopes to accomplish what Legacy couldn't: defeat Jackson Drake to hold the championship and the Evolve brand. Sean "thanked" him for the advice before offering another in return: when Stevie Turner doesn't name him the number one contender, he hopes Enofé comes up with new excuses to justify why he couldn't get the job done. The comment angered Edris, escalating the tension of the moment. Several officials intervened to prevent a fight.

- The Vanity Project had a backstage segment, with Jackson Drake visibly upset upon learning that Dante Chen or Edris Enofé will be his next challenger. Kali Armstrong appeared on the scene to wonder who of the two will lose their WWE Evolve Championship first. Zayda Steel stepped forward to assure her it will be her. Kali replied that she won't let the title leave her waist anytime soon. Meanwhile, she had to wait anxiously to know Stevie Turner's decision.

- Kylie Rae delivered a promo in the ring. "Chantel Monroe, we couldn't be more different. I like to try to be positive, happy, and smiling. You are negative, conceited, and selfish. And even though you took a shortcut against me, I wasn't willing to let you do it again to become WWE EVOLVE Champion. That's something you'll have to achieve on your own talent. And even though you have a lot of talent, there's no way you were going to become champion before me. But until then, I have a match with a woman with the purest heart. Someone who, frankly, I feel honored to share the ring with, Masyn Holiday. Wish me luck," Rae said.

- Kylie Rae defeated Masyn Holiday (with Layla Diggs) by submission after applying a crossface.

- Chuey Martinez interviewed Harley Riggins and Jax Presley backstage. The rookies were unimpressed with Adrenaline Drip, their opponents for the night. In fact, they claimed that all their acrobatics in the ring might work for them on the independent circuit, but not in Evolve. They, on the other hand, are two true athletes with all the necessary qualities to succeed. To conclude, they assured that Adrenaline Drip would add a new achievement to their record: being the first victims of Riggins and Presley in their Evolve debut.

- In a brief backstage segment, Tate Wilder told Drako Knox that he needs to defeat Ridge Holland to prove he can be the next big WWE superstar.

- Harley Riggins and Jax Presley defeated Adrenaline Drip (Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones) in a tag team match. Riggins applied The Unnecessary Roughness on Jones for the victory.

- Stevie Turner entered the ring to reveal her decision about the next challenger for the WWE Evolve Championship. Ricky Smokes interrupted her to confront her about the treatment received by his partner, WWE Evolve Champion Jackson Drake, who didn't deserve to find out the name of his opponent at the same time as everyone else. Brad Baylor also criticized the "Prime Minister of Evolve," accusing her of underestimating the best talent the brand has: The Vanity Project. Keanu Carver interrupted Baylor and Smokes, telling them to be quiet before asking Turner to say the name of the chosen challenger. Brooks Jensen asked Turner to think carefully about who she was going to name. Jensen was aware that Turner doesn't like The Vanity Project and wants a new champion in the brand. And there's only one man who can do that job: him, not Carver. Ridge Holland was the next to intervene to make it clear that he wouldn't allow anyone to interfere with his path. Suddenly, Tate Wilder launched himself at the Brit, starting a fight.

Finally, Jackson Drake addressed Turner. The champion was aware that everyone wants a piece of him, but he didn't care. That said, he encouraged the "Prime Minister" to choose anyone, as he will defeat anyone he faces. Bryce Donovan intervened at that moment. Proud of the confidence shown by Drake, Donovan reiterated that his partner could defeat Jensen and Carver. Turner considered that a great idea, leading her to make her decision. Therefore, Jackson Drake will defend the WWE Evolve Championship against Keanu Carver and Brooks Jensen in a triple threat match next week.

Drake and his Vanity Project teammates expressed their discontent with the decision. Tension escalated into a scuffle, with Keanu Carver and Brooks Jensen fighting with The Vanity Project as a whole. Brooks executed a chokeslam on Drake through a table in the final moments of the episode.
