Vince McMahon's look at his 80th birthday party sparked humorous comments

Charles Wright, known in WWE as The Godfather, has explained how he experienced the recent celebration of Vince McMahon's 80th birthday. The event took place over the weekend of August 22-24 at the luxurious Baccarat Hotel in New York, with live performances also at Gotham Hall.

In the latest edition of his podcast Poddin' Ain't Easy on AdFreeShows.com, Godfather recounted that he found himself in an atmosphere full of old friends and familiar faces: "I'm not going to say everyone who was there, but of course Taker was there, also Kane, Bradshaw, and Cena. Jelly Roll even performed live. We had a really good time."

Godfather explained that he ran into McMahon at the entrance of the Friday cocktail party. The suit Vince was wearing caught both his and The Undertaker's attention, as it reminded them of the villain Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies. "I said, 'Vince, thank you for inviting me.' He replied, 'Charles, I want you to know that there's no one here who isn't a true friend.' We kept talking for a bit and then went inside, but I couldn't stop thinking that he was wearing a Dr. Evil suit."

The former wrestler added that McMahon seemed to be in better shape than some recent images show: "He was walking better, he looked more recovered. He even introduced me to his partner, but in my head, I could only think 'Dr. Evil, you're Dr. Evil.'

Later, while chatting with The Undertaker and Kane, they all agreed on the same impression. "Taker said to me, 'man, Vince looks like Dr. Evil.' And I replied, 'that's exactly what I was thinking.'

Wright emphasized that it was a fun and special evening for the attendees. Security was strict, and the use of phones and cameras was not allowed at the party, so it's unclear if there are any photos of the peculiar suit. As previously reported, the idea was to keep the gathering a secret, although inevitably some details ended up leaking.
